About Me

I am a girl. I am saved by grace by a sovereign God, and He has called me to, among other things, make disciples of all nations. I strive to be a good witness for Him, no matter how many times I fail Him. He put me here for a reason, and I am forever finding out what that reason is.

I am blessed beyond measure with the most amazing family, which currently consists of my amazing parents, 5 sisters, 3 brothers, 4 brothers-in-law, and 14 (going on 16!) nieces and nephews. They are my everything, and I don't know what I would do without each and every one of them. I know I can go to my parents with anything, and I will receive nothing but sound, God-given wisdom. My brothers and sisters are my best friends and confidantes. My nieces and nephews are the joy of my life. Their unconditional love and affection continually restores my child-like faith in the goodness of others.

I am a pianist and a singer, and I love it. I'm emotionally volatile, so beware. I wear my heart on my sleeve, and I don't mind. I am painfully honest and I keep very few things private. Christ set me free, and I defy you to try and bind me. I work as a stylist, and I very much love fashion. I love everyone. Regardless.

Thank you for visiting my blog. I hope that everything I write here is glorifying to God and edifying to you. May God bless you and keep you.

Love,
Shelley

  1. "I am in love with a man I can never marry, and it took me a long time to accept that. Too long I waited for a man I thought was there inside of him. Too long I clung to hope that he loved me more than he loved the commandments and approval of Man. I am devastated with him, but there is no way around it: I am still in love with him. My heart is shattered."

I know exactly what you're feeling, and it isn't pleasant. I'm very sorry, Shelley.

  2. I have been told by several people that you would be able to relate to my situation. At the same time I'm glad that someone does, but I'm sad that anyone has to.
